Much better than my last post thankfully!!
Update on my Dad: He's doing better. Still suffering from some after effects, and still doesn't know what happened but he's doing well.
Update on life:
- I GOT A PROMOTION! I'm now a Training Coach! I help run our training bay where the n00bs start taking calls. I must say, I'm enjoying my job. A lot! This happened in March, so it was a super awesome 1 year anniversary with Xerox!
- April, Logan and I went to Texas to see my brother graduate USAF BMT! Words can't describe how proud I am of my baby brother!! It was so inspiring to be back on an AFB. I am actually considering joining myself.
- Back in February I joined a gym. As of now, my goal is to get USAF fit so I can join!
- I chopped my hair off.
- I started a fitness blog! ironmaidenfitness.blogspot.com Feel free to follow me as I get healthy and fit enough to join the Air Force!
Love always,

Like the title says. January was fun, but February has been a disaster! My dad was found on the side if the road unconscious, was airlifted to all hospital. Thankfully he did not need surgery but good god that was scary as hell! It's also been snowing and icy all weekend, I missed one day of work because of it. *Sigh* and don't get me started on taxes this year. We got a shitty return and won't be able to make it to Iowa in April like we wanted. More money more problems I guess.
So yea. I'm hoping it's just a bad month and its not setting precedence for the rest of the year.
Wow, where did the time go? It's 2014 already! Here's a recap of 2013:
January: Logan's birthday, we went to outback. My jcp job ended.
February: we started looking for an apartment.
March: I got my job at Xerox, and we got the apartment! Also, our cat Sabby! And my birthday, we went to dinner and a movie, and then I got dalek cupcakes from missy!
April: not much happened.
May: I worked, Logan worked.
June: Still nothing memorable. We also started going to Multnomah falls around this time.
July: I saw some fireworks at the golf course near me.
August: Phil and Jamie got married. Logan and I celebrated 2 years together! For our anniversary we got a hotel and then we went downtown and just hung out and walked around. It was awesome!
September: nothing too exciting.
October: I dressed up for Halloween at work as a gothic fairy, but everyone thought I was a butterfly 😡 We also got our second cat Sylvie! I found her in the parking lot and couldn't resist her cuteness!
November: our car broke, the brakes just stopped working all the time, so we got our new car the tardis! We also celebrated Schel and Jamie's birthdays at an awesome pub. Thanksgiving was at Missy's place, and would have been better if I had a voice!
December: Christmas! I had to work, but it was ok. Logan and I dis our gift exchange early. I got a lot of great things, and gave a lot of great things!
And yea. Overall it's been a good year I'd say. Met some awesome people, had some cool experiences. Hopefully this year will be even better!
Allonsy!
Sorry for not posting at all in March! My life was kind of crazy. So I guess I will give everyone all the updates!
Work:
- I have been working at Xerox as a customer care associate since March 5! I'm done with training and have been on the phones for 3 days now. I've learned so much in the past month and a half, it's crazy! I'm still in disbelief that I have a full time job, with benefits, and I work for an awesome company!
Life:
- Logan is still working at Sonic, but he transferred to the Vancouver store. He doesn't really like it there, but he's been getting tons of hours. Once we get some things in order we are going to start saving up so he can go back to school.
- My cousin Cassie is getting married next year and she asked me to be her MOH!! I'm pretty excited, and very happy that she found someone so good to her! I can't wait to meet him!
- I'm finally building a computer! Er, well buying the parts for it so Logan can build it for me! So far I have the case, power supply, motherboard, and my mouse is on it's way. I can't wait for it to be done so I can finally play the games I've been wanting to play!!
- I've been trying to eat healthier, but I've found after working a 10 hour day I'm not in the mood to cook. For those days, we've been buying super easy to cook meals, or going to JJ's or something like that. But I think because of my new desk job, eating healthier really hasn't made a difference. Hopefully soon we can join a gym, but there are things financially I want to make sure we get taken care of first.
- In my search for a job, I took the blue out of my hair. Once I got this job and asked if it was ok, I put purple in. It didn't really work very well though, so after that faded enough I put the blue back in! I missed it a lot!
- Oh, my birthday happened. I'm 23. I had to work on my birthday, so the Sunday before, Logan took me to The Portland Seafood Company. It was SOOOO good! I had lobster and crab mac and cheese yum! Then we went to see the Jack and the bean stock movie, which was waaay better then I thought it was going to be. Then eventually we had a get together with our friends, Missy made me dalek cupcakes and they gave me The Hobbit dvd and pair of really cute earrings!
- Easter we went to Ed and Joi's place and had dinner, hung out and had a good time.
- We celebrated Ed's birthday with a wine and cheese party. It was there I found out how delicious pink moscato is!
- We also celebrated John defending his thesis, and birthday!
I'm going to try and keep this updated more, now that I have 3 days off a week :P
Love you all,
-Tarwen-
Why is it so hard to get a good job? I've been looking for something different, and preferably out of retail for..a while now. I get tons of interviews, I dress nice for the interviews, I feel like it goes really well, and then nothing. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. But what? What else can I do to make people want to hire me?! It really sucks getting excited about a new possible job that I know I would be good at, and then I hear nothing, or I get that awesome e-mail saying "we're considering other candidates" . The teller positions, I understand because my credit sucks. But just because my credit sucks doesn't mean I'm going to be a shitty employee. I fell on bad times, and getting a job like that would help me out cause then I could pay what I need to to get a better credit score. *sigh*
Now that we're moving, I'm not sure what I'm going to do cause I'm not getting very many hours and I'm moving 20 minutes away, and I would have to most likely take the max/bus to get there. I'm looking for places closer/easier to access, but it's hard.
/end rant of the night.

Not much happened this month. Logan and I did get an apartment with Schel, just waiting to move now. I'm really excited to finally have our own place!
I started watching Dr. Who, which got Logan watching it and now we're both addicted. I cried at the end of season 2.
Elliot got me addicted to Pokemon. Logan and Schel aren't helping. I have Black on the DS...and I also have an actual card deck. What can I say? It's fun!
Anyway...yea, that's pretty much it.
